I love Franz Ferdinand

I was with no hope of finding tickets. Too old and too shy to try to go outside the venue and if by accident you'd see one of them in the street ask them if they remember when on March 12th 2004 we opened their show at Rainbow club in Milan. I just went there though and asked whether there were tickest left. No answers.
We stayed for 5 minutes waiting for a friend of our who did not arrive and when we were about to leave the short line outside the bowery ballroom started moving, we went downstirs and got 2 of the last 4 tickets (I think there were 10 total). i just could not believe it. I felt lucky. Even though that meant that we had to wait for 3 hours with no food in the venue. It did not matter. The show was great and they made me happy once again...and this is all that matters.
On the way home I had a slice of pizza and it tasted like the best I've ever had.
Anyway my photos are crap..these are much better: http://www.prefixmag.com/blog/franz-ferdinand-bowery-ballroom-photos/5740

Moody mood

The New City, friends visiting, my new job, Nicky's new job, well all these things sort of kept me away from myself.
I started reading "The Rotter's club" for the 5th time and I already left it once again.
I haven't written a single word for possible new songs.
I haveb't started any musical instrument class and not even any fitness class.
I want to write, to read more, to walk, to sing and play.
I'm so tired as I did not sleep well last night but I kind of feel I want to be back to my hyperactivity and I want a work with no bosses...
Good Night (for a fight)

I just found out that Franz Ferdinand will be playing on June 13th at The Bowery Ballroom and the tickets went on sale today and are sold out. I had Franz Ferdinand only all day on my Ipod today...weird coincidence? I love them.

It's raining again

I can't believe almost a year has passed since my last post. SHAME on me.

My life is so different now.
Last year we were recording "Good night for a fight", at this time I was on the first part of my honeymoon in Ventotene, I was working at lastminute.com and maybe I already saw the house I was going to buy.

June 2007:
I live in New York now and I love it.
Now it's raining outside. Heavily.

"Good night for a fight" was finished before xmas right before we came here, I think it is our best record so far. We were also interviewed by Rolling Stone magazine!
We already got back to Italy for a small tour and had a great time with my beloved Kech.
Nothing could compare.

I work for travelocity still on lastminute.com but now also on igougo.com. Totally different way of working though.

I'm happy.
I miss the laugh and the smiles and the fights with my closest friends, but they are always with me anyway.

Still in my Favourite songs there is Good night for a fight.
